In the first book for her Dark Ones series Katie MacAlister gently introduces us to her supernatural world. Joy and Roxy, quirky bffs end up in the Czech Republic and right into the lap of a Goth Fair, two hunky guys and a crazy witch named Tanya who has it out for Joy.
As usual I got some great laughs out of Ms. MacAlister's writing. She has quickly become one of my favorite authors, how can you beat heroines that remind you of yourself and heros that actually are likable on top of being humpable? For those looking for a lovely paranormal romance that has actual meat and laughs to it I highly recommend this book.
