Under A Vampire Moon by Lynsay Sands
The 16th book in the Argeneau series, Under the Vampire Moon fell short of the rest of the series. Generally a fun, romantic read that ensures a good time. This time the book had a slow start, a drawn out middle and a rushed/incomplete ending that left you wondering when exactly these two fell in love because most of the novel he was pretending to be gay and up till the last few pages she was feeling old and ugly and denying that anyone as young as Christian could love her. After waiting for months for this book, I felt let down by this book and can only hope that the next one will respark my interest in this series. While there were a few humorous spots it couldn't hold a candle to the humor in the other Argeneau books. My hope is that Ms. Sands was just rushed or having a bad few months (idea wise) when writing this book and that she will be back at the top of her game for the books to follow. I'd hate to have to flounce a series but I just can't see wasting my money on any more if they are going to be as bad as this one.
