I have to say this is some of the best .99 cents at Amazon I've ever spent (Besides the time I bought my 1st Ann Charles book OMG best .99 cent bin purchase ever) Kathleen Turner and Blane Kirk are amazingly hot together and the UST is amazing. Talk about an Alpha male, Blane is right there, former Navy Seal, rich lawyer, blue blood and his protective streak over Kathleen is so unffff I loved it. But if Blane isn't enough for for you the mysterious Kade is HOT! Is he a hired hit man? or is he really a good guy in disguise? well you'll have to read it to find out.
While this story lacks the usual paranormal elements that I usually blog about I have to say that I didn't even miss the paranormal in this book (shocking I know). It was a love story, but it was more than that it was a mystery, a story of loss, and of growth. It never dragged and at times I laughed so hard I almost cried, while at other times I cried because I couldn't help it the emotions were that intense. The edge of your seat action scenes were the icing on the cake.
